Another weekend meant another chance for a little adventure! We had a free night award with Hilton, good for any location, and Reedi had been dreaming of the beach. Since it’s been so warm at night along our part of the Gulf Coast, we thought using the free night for a beach getaway would be the perfect way to escape the heat and enjoy some ocean air!

Even though it was just a regular two-day weekend, it gave us plenty of time to drive over to the Alabama Gulf Coast for a couple of sunny days. We started our Saturday with a delicious brunch at Tamara’s Downtown in Foley before checking into the Island House Hotel in Orange Beach. Then, it was straight to the beach for a few glorious hours of sun and sand! For dinner, we enjoyed a tasty meal at Zeke’s Landing and Marina before heading back to our room to watch a beautiful sunset from our balcony. It was such a relaxing and refreshing weekend!
